  <dc:description xml:lang="srp">UVOD: Oseointegracija predstavlja preduslov uspjeha implantatne terapije.
vrste imlantata: samourezujući (Bredent-Narrow SKY) i neurezujući (Nobel Replace –
Conical Connection) istih dimenzija.
REZULTATI: Rezultati eksperimentalne studije su pokazali statistički značajnu
povezanost gustine kosti izražene u HU jedinicama i primarne stabilnosti
samourezujućih i neurezujućih dentalnih implantata izražene u ISQ jedinicama u
kostima goveđeg femura i samourezujućih implantata i kostima svinjskog rebra. Nije
bilo statistički značajne povezanosti neurezujućih dentalnih implantata u kostima
svinjskog rebra. Samourezujući i neurezujući implantati nijesu pokazali statistički
značajnost u primarnoj stabilnosti u kostima različitog kvaliteta. U kliničkoj studiji
je dokazano da postoji statistički značajna jaka pozitivna povezanost između gustine
kosti izražene u HU jedinicama izmjerene u softveru CBCT aparata i primarne
stabilnosti dentalnih implantata izraženih u ISQ jedinicama;
ZAKLjUČAK: Analizom gustine koštanog tkiva CBCT sniimka u softveru aparata
izraženom u HU jedinicama može se predvidjeti stepen primarne stabilnosti
samourezujućih i neurezujućih dentalnih implantata u kostima gustine D1, D2 i
samourezujućih dentalnih imlantata u kostima slabijeg kvaliteta gustine D4. Stepen
primarne stabilnosti neurezujućih dentalnih implantata u kostima slabijeg kvaliteta
D4 ne može se predvidjeti. Više vrijednosti HU povezane su sa višim vrednostima ISQ.</dc:description>
  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">INTRODUCTION: Osseointegration stands as a prerequisite for the success of implant therapy. Bone quality and quantity, implant design, and surgical technique represent the most important factors influencing the primary stability of the implant, which is a prerequisite for osseointegration.
METHODOLOGY: In order to solve the set objectives, an experimental study was conducted on a material of animal origin: bovine femur and pig ribs and a clinical prospective experimental study on humans, lacking one tooth in the lateral region indicated for implant placement. Two
types of implants were used in this study: self-tapping (Bredent-Narrow SKY) and non selftapping (Nobel Replace - Conical Connection) of the same dimensions.
RESULTS: Results of the experimental study showed a statistically significant correlation between bone density expressed in HU units and primary stability of self-tapping and non-selftapping dental implants expressed in ISQ units in bovine femur bones and self-tapping implants
and pig rib bones. There was no statistically significant correlation between non-self-tapping
dental implants in pig rib bones. Self-tapping and non-self tapping implants did not show statistical significance in primary stability in bones of different quality. In a clinical study, it was
demonstrated that there is a statistically significant strong positive correlation between bone density expressed in HU units measured in CBCT apparatus software and primary stability of dental
implants expressed in ISQ units;
CONCLUSION: The analysis of bone density from CBCT images in the software of the apparatus expressed in HU units can be used to predict the degree of primary stability of self-tapping
and non-self-tapping dental implants in bones of density D1, D2 and self-tapping dental implants
in bones of lower quality D4. The degree of primary stability of non self-tapping dental implants in bones of lower quality D4 cannot be predicted. Higher HU values are associated with higher ISQ values.</dc:description>
